Hello
I've got Movie factory 3SE packed with my tuner/acquisition card.
I'd like to create a dvd with a menu using DVDMF3SE but when i try to add movies to the compilation, some files are not "accessible" (error notification message), for example, the .avi files.
I've upgrade my version at http://www.ulead.fr/tech/dmf/dmf_ftp_dmf3.htm but i can't still add avi.
What are the supported media supported for my version to create a DVD with a menu readable on all dvd players?
I've too video studio 8SE packed but i've not installed yet, maybe this soft could help me more to do what i want?
V3SE : supported medias to create DVD?

I'm not sure about avi files but I also have recently obtained and external capture card that I have used to creat mpeg2 files. These are recognized by Movie Factory 3 SE.
Although the card also came with video studio 8 SE I am not using it since I am not performing any significant editing on the VHS content I am busy converting to DVD format. MF3 SE has adequate editing capability to trim video clips or to cut out sections. I may be wrong, but I found that if I use vides studio 8 SE to edit the clips they have to be rendered first in order to then use MF3 SE to create a DVD.

Thanks for the reply
Yes for the mpeg files, it works, for the avi, it seems impossible : a friend told me that i have to convert them to mpeg using tempgencoder for example. Maybe he's right
, maybe someone has find another way...
I wont change all my files, nevermind, i'll watch my movie on my computer and not on my tv, that's all. Too bad...
Thanks anyway
