Video Studio 9 - New User with Very Simple Questions :)

Post by alan1 »

Hi

I just downloaded the full version of video studio 9 and also installed the update patch - in help/about it shows version as 9.00.1000; does anyone know if this is the right version when the patch is installed?

Reason Im concerned is the patch said it adds dual layer burning support but I dont see that option anywhere.

Also when I go to Tools/Smart Download i see these big files to download - 4 UVS9 Content Packs - are these the VStudio patched version??.

Also SmartSound,ULead Cool3D SE,Bonus Menu Pack, ULEad DVD Disk Recorder 2.1. It says click the Content Info button to find out more about a file, but there is no such button.

Do I need to download DVD Disk Recorder 2.1 to get dual layer.

Thanks for reading

Sorry

Now I see the post about Smart Download that answered my question

But can someone confirm that I need to download those content packs to get my VStudio upgraded by the patch. They are as big as the original application!

Also do I just run them in order 1,2,3,4 ??

Thanks
Alan

Those downloads are extra/bonus content (sample images, programs etc) not the patch, your version # indicates the patch has been applied.

Hi Alan

Dual Layer
Don’t have one---not used it.

From Share – Create Disc
Select the Preferences icon ---lower left---or press F6

DVD Disc Size
