When capturing the actions of my game-console (composite) I experience frequent freezes of VideoStudio. It ALWAYS happens when I hit escape to stop capturing video.
I still let my game-console running after I stopped capturing.
The captured file is saved to HD and I am still able to open the process window by Ctrl-ALT-DEL but I cannot finish VideoStudio 9. I am forced to hit reset and start Windows XP all over again.
It does'nt matter what settings I use: WMV or AVI or MPG: it happens to all of them.
I was thinking that my computer runned out of memory, so I added 1 GB extra memory, but that made no difference.
Is VideoStudio sensitive for some Virus-software or so?
I have Kaspersky anti-virus and ZoneAlarm Firewall running.
I did not made special settings for this capturing. Just the ordinary WMV choice from the capture tab.
Any Idea?

Hi Han,
If you have your antivirus, and firewall running while capturing, they maybe causing this problem. You might try disabling them and see if the capture goes better.
I always make a practice to shutdown everything running in the background before doing any video work..
