Video Lose after Capture
I am using Video Studio 9 and I can connect my camcorder to it. I get the video to display in VS9 I capture a few frames then VS9 video goes black. I can still control the camcorder with VS9. Does anyone have any ideas why I am loosing my video after the first capture. Could it be the firewire cable I am using?

Hi Nhunter,
Could you please fill in your System information in your Profile? Troubleshooting video editing problems is more complex then it seems.
Also without knowing the information on what brand of camcorder you are capturing from, what format (MPEG, DV-AVI) you're capturing to I'm going to make a wild guess at what might be causing your problem (I've experienced a similar occurance).
Do you have Show Drop Frame Information checked in File>Preferences? Is there any dropped frames?
There's alot of other things that can cause this, such as video card, and problems with the camcorder..
This is a start, so give us some more info to work with, and we will work it through...
Regards
Ron
