Stewart's question about shrinking JPGs has given me a question as well.
I would like to keep my camera's EXIF data while saving my image as an altered/edited/improved image. I've done this in PIv8, but only on a quick, one-session edit and using File/Save As rather than using PI's Web/Image Optimizer, which immediately strips out any EXIF data. (You can see this in action over on my Flickr photostream http://www.flickr.com/photos/yarnaholic/67409496/ )
Anyone have a suggestion on how I can keep my camera's EXIF data while working on and closing a JPG image over several days?
Thanks for sharing any thoughts you have on this.

Click on File -> Preferences -> Color Management and disable or uncheck Enable Color Management.

Hi 2log-thanks for answering. I did read that information elsewhere on the board and disabled Color Management, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to save the EXIF data as I described above.
My question was more along the lines of how could I keep working on a JPG over several days, opening and closing, without losing either my EXIF data or, more importantly, the image quality. I can't save in another format along the way without losing the EXIF data.
Probably not possible...
