vs9 will NOT load the program , unless i open thru wizard

the video studio menu comes up

1 select editor option, i get a blue line, and then it errors out and cant load it.

i reboot, no difference

if i select from the menu the wizard, i create a dummy project, it loads etc... then i open the dummy project in editor, and away i go, create new project or open an existing one?


why is this so?

Please update your System Specifications on your profile page.

What version of Video Studio are you using (7, 8, 9)
Is it a Download (ESD) Version or did you install it from a CD
Was it the full version or an upgrade.

Has it ever worked correctly or is this a new recent problem.
What operating system do you hace, does it have all the latest service packs.
