I have only used version 4 of this program a couple of times & have to admit that there is one rather simple thing that I have still to work out & this creating submenu's.
Suppose I were to drag 3 files into the program, I then select each one in turn & create chapter points on each one. I wish for the initial screen to just display a background which only displays 3 thumbnails with a file name underneath. You could then select one thumbnails by you clicking on it & you are then taken to a screen that has the thumbnails for that particular file & you could see & select your chapter for that particular file. How do I get these extra menus?

To get sub-menus you need to add chapters like you have done.
In the menu creation screen (next screen) click on the "Advanced Settings" tab and select (check on)
"Add Title Menu"
"Create Chapter Menu"
To access the 2nd chapter menu and customize it click on the drop-down box to the right of "Currently displayed menu" (under the preview screen).
