Audio but no video

Hey,

I'm semi-new to VS8 (I had VS6 before) and I'm trying to capture from my 8mm Samsung to my computer. I'm getting the audio captured but no video, just a black screen. Is there something I'm forgetting to do? I hadn't used 6 in months so I might be letting something slip out of my head but I'm pretty sure I have it all right...

Any help would be great. Thanks

In the Preferences, change the Instant Playback Target from Dualhead to the Preview Window. UVS is currently outputting the capture preview to the second video connector or TV Out of your video card.
