Multi-trim option grayed out in VS9. HELP NEWBIE PLEASE!

Post by teenyshell »

Hello,
I am very new to this and learning pretty well, I think. I have successfully been able to capture, trim edit and add effects to tape 1 of my 4-tape project. I have just captured tape 2 and am trying to multi-trim it now. The problem is that the multi-trim option is grayed out on my toolbar and I can't select it. Does anyone know why this may be or what I can do to fix it? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Nevermind. Just about when I was ready to give up for the night, I figured it out. Thank you.

Hi Teenyshell,

Do you have a clip in the storyboard/timeline, and have it selected/highlighted? It will not work on clips in the library. You must place a clip on the timeline...

EDIT
Glad to see you figured it out...

Ron :)
