no sound on discs with 1st-play video in DVDMF 2SE

My DVD project consistist of a 40-sec. 1st-play video followed by a 64-minute video with 10 chapters. Both videos are encoded as NTSC DVD, 5000kbps video, 128 kbps Dolby AC-3 audio in MediaStudio Pro 7.3. While authoring the DVD, everything plays fine within DVDMF. However, my burned DVD-Rs do not have audio for the 64-minute video, just the 1st-play and the menus.

I've re-encoded the affected video several times. It DOES have sound when it's the only video on the DVD disc, but not when used on the same disc as the 1st-play video. Therefore, I am assuming this is a bug in DVD MovieFactory. I'm using Version 2SE, which was bundled with MediaStudio Pro 7. I have MSP Service Patch 3 installed.

I recently uninstalled and reinstalled both Ulead products on my system, which is a dedicated video-editing PC. The DVD-R was being burned as I left for work this morning, so I won't know if the reinstallation fixed the problem until tonight. FWIW, I run no games, antivirus, or networking software on that PC -- strictly video and a few utility apps.
