Feature for VS9 - Can you rename video clips without exiting

I have been using VS since version 6 and I currently have VS8, along with the movie factory 3.5. These are excellent products. However my big complaint that I hope was solved in VS9 is whether I can rename video clips without exiting the program.

In VS8 when I click on properties, the file info is greyed out and not changeable. I will upgrade if this feature has been added. Please advise. Thank you.

Hi

There is no feature to re-name the video files on your hard drive from within VS. Version 8 and 9 afaik are the same in this respect.

But you can re-name the thumbnails within the library. Click twice on the name under the thumbnail.
