Server busy(?)

Post by Tourmalescence »

Earlier today i installed my Ulead videostudio 7.0, edited a recorded tv prgram and made it into a commercial-free version and saved it. All that good stuff. Now, I've got a different episode, i've mad it commercial free and saved it, but i'm having difficulties creating one file out of the clips that i made. When i go into share and click the 'create video file' I get an error message titled "Server Busy" it says: This action cannot be completed because the other program is busy. Choose 'Switch To' to activate the busy program and fix the problem.
sounds simple, but when i choose 'switch to' my start menu pops up and i have no clue where to go from there. I have no other programs running except for AIM and a mozzila browser window. I don't understand how to fix this, please help me out.

OK, I don't know the answer. In case there is some corruption with the captured files you may want/need to start this project again (a real PITA I know...)
Also bear in mind that with different time zones and peoples' timetables it will probably take 24 hours for everyone here to cast their eyes over your problem. Hang in there - hopefully someone will have a clue.

This hasn't happened to me in Video Studio, but every once in awhile I get that message when working with one of my photo-editing programs. If I shut completely down and re-boot, everything seems to be fine again. That might work for you in VS. Pat

Please check if there indeed has any other programs running in the background. If it is, close them when you run UVS.

BTW, what's the video bitrate are you using to capture the video??
