saving captures?

I just downloaded 5 hours of vhs tape in videostudio 7, and saved them to a file , went back to open them it siad cannot relink, and now all that i done wont open becuase of relink. Anyone know what i did wrong or what i need to do. Thank you

So - how did you download them - how did you save them - did you move them at all - did you try the 'Relink' option - did it work if not what happened ?????

i downloaded them from vcr , then when through i saved them to folder in my documents as home movie#1, it is there but if i try to open it it comes up says cannot relink, i try and says cant find file. Was i also suppsoe to save something in the library. And dont think it matters it was a vcd file and cant burn it unless it is mpeg, i try to download as mpeg but get error afoer like 152 seconds each time. but will dowloand fine as lcd i think it is

but are you capturing using Ulead VideoStudio and what are you using to connect from your VCR to your PC - do you have an analogue to DV converter or are you using an analogue capture card.

Hi

After capturing are you saying that you moved/renamed the files that you captured.
If you did then you will have to re-link all the files. Or are you saying the re-link does not work?

Try starting a NEW project and import your files (movie#1) to the timeline.
Click the lower left folder icon and select insert video.
