program to improve shakiness of video?

Post by Klaus Christo »

does anyone have a suggestion for a good program to fix shaky videos?
I tried 'ShakeyHand' which sounded quite good but it keeps crashing when I try to play an mpeg I suppose I could try loading an avi.

I've had fairly good results with the depan filter - http://www.fizick.com/

Here's one that I've used, ArcSoft Video Stabilizer.
It works as long as there is not a lot of shaking.

I'll jump back in here and add that I think Fizick's app works much better then ArcSoft's, which I wasted $75 on.
