Occasionally I insert images from a Canon Ixus 430 directly on the timeline of the Video Editor. After rendering (mpg) and creating a PAL DVD with Movie Factory the images look very jagged when playing the DVD on TV.
However, when I create a slideshow directly with Movie Factory, using the same Ixus images, the video result on TV is perfect.
Before I supply more details on settings etc. I would like to know where I can find info about this "problem".
Can it be solved within Video Editor anyway?
I have experimented with Photoshop on the images prior to inserting them into Video Editor without result.
Searching this forum I have applied some of the suggestions (Media Source Options, Create Video File settings) but the result on TV is still not as good as the mentioned result with MF.
Is there something I overlooked?

sounds like MPEG problem
sounds to me like its a problem with converting directly from your camera to MPEG. thats where the jaggies are coming from. Suggestion is to tweak up the qauality on the digitization.
