tiring behaviour of forum

Post by dicck »

(Can't find a appropriate subforum for this topic.)

After performing a search and viewing one topic of the items it's impossible to go back to the searchresults.

Please fix this!!!!

Have you tried clicking the 'back' button in your browser? works fine for me

Yes I did. Resulting in "This page has expired" (translated).
But indeed, when I refresh then I'm back at the results.
Still not very smooth.

Never had that (the expired part), but your other option would be to right click the topic and open in new window.

Would be, but it still is an extra action.
In 'normal' forums such is not required.
Nevertheless, thanks for your hints. :)

Try firefox for windows which uses "Tabbed Browsing".
When you use it you right-click on the link and select "Open in new Tab".
The original search results always remains in it's own tab.

I don't experience this problem with any other forum.
Should I only for the Ulead forum change my browser?
(Firefox has its - other - problems too!)

Have you always had this problem on Ulead's forums? Was there any period of time when this didn't occur? I use Firefox and have similar problems when viewing Yahoo Photos. It drives me crazy! Refresh doesn't correct it and I ultimately have to use the scroll down back button to return to the page.

I use Firefox, Tabbed browsing, and when searching, I Middle click on the links which opens them in a new tab. Not anymore time consuming then regular left click...

Thanks Vidoman!!!!

Been using Firefox for so long.
Never realized the middle button operated that way. Always right-clicked.

You guys are great.
