The Search Button

hi, im not sure what forum this would fit into, seeing that there is no help forum at this site and tech is been down for a while, so i was hoping someone could help me with this

the search button isnt working, because when i search for anything, it will say that there are no topics found. i typed simple words such as "a" and "i" and nothing came up then.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Nope, I just performed a search for any messages containing "search button" and yours came up first in the list

weird, the past week it wasnt workin and now it works well thanks

The search function does not work with simple letters like "a" and "i" because that would return just about every thread on the board and someone will have set a limit to the number of results you get - sometimes if you search on a simple word you will get a message like "a word is to common" - meaning there are to many results - sometimes the search engine just gives up and say there are no topics.

If you search for sensible meaningful words you should always get some results.
