NO response from Customer Support

Post by dablan »

I have to post here because in 3 days, I've yet to hear back from anyone at ULead.

The problem is this:

I recently purchased a license for ULead DVD Movie Factory by clicking

on the Buy Now button in the Trial version. The SN sent to me unlocked it,

which is fine. However, I’m not able to update the patches, as they are not

seeing the installed software – the ULead site says you can’t update

trials.

Therefore, I’m stuck. Because I purchased this product from within the trial

application, I never got an actual download link to a “full” version.

Can you please send me a link to download the version I paid for?

After receiving the serial number, did you register your software?

You can try calling Customer Service at (310) 896-6396. As I understand it, this number is for non-technical issues like "I didn't get what I paid for." Or, is that who you already tried to contact?
Can you please send me a link...
This is a "user-to-user" forum and I've never seen a direct Ulead response here. (I assume some of the forum members are Ulead employees.)

What happens if you re-install the program and activate it
immediately with the serial number they provided before it starts
the full installation.

Maybe that will fix the program.

No go either. It appears the TBYB has some marking or code.

Oh, and it's the 4th day, no response from ULead :(

1. Make sure the e-mail address you fill in the tech support form is correct. If it's not correct, it's impossible Ulead can response to you.

2. Use a non-free e-mail address to send the tech support form because as I know Ulead servers might recognize free mail address as spam address so your mail will never get to Ulead.

3. Ask your network service provider to see if they have blocked Ulead mails because some network service providers will consider Ulead mail servers as one of the spam sources.

4. Check the junk mail folder in your e-mail program. Some e-mail program will consider Ulead tech support mail as spam so you will never see the response in the mail box.

If any of 2, 3 and 4 is true, then you need to use another non-free mail account to send the tech support form.

Or you can call them again to see if someone will answer.

Hope this helps.

Hang in there...

When I had my SN trouble I had to spend about an hour on hold each time I called so hang in there. It's unfotunate that they don't give you a toll free number.

Can't Upgrade

I had a similar problem and couldn't upgrade. I found your question as well as this info on the Ulead site.

It may help you with your problem. It helped me.
Cheers,
