I would like to know if a ULEAD product is capable of copying a video already recorded on a dvd and superimpose on existing TV program already recorded on other DVD disk. Then the edited movie will show a small (regular) window of new video on the existing DVD movie.
I am thinking of trying out PRO Media Studio.

You're talking about a Picture in Picture (PiP) effect.
MediaStudio Pro comes with several PiP effects and you can also create your own using the Moving Path control. Once created these new PiP effects can be saved for later re-use. At least two of us on this forum have posted collections of their own custom PiP's for others to use. Mine has 24 custom PiP's.
MSPro 8's capture tool can import video from unprotected DVD's (meaning: non commercial) and DVD video recorder discs for use in the editor.
Other programs while illegal can create unprotected versions of protected discs, but using them is your moral judgement to make.
