Hi there,
I've just got a new Digital Still camera which shoots in 7.1 megapixels.
In their full glory, each jpeg file is around 1.2 mb.
I've taken a 360 degree photo (ie a series of photos) and 'stiched' the photos together and ended up with a file that's 8 mb.
I've used Panning to create a fly through of the photo and thought I'd test the output prior to doing a series of these for a presentation.
When I've gone to create the video file (as per all the instructions on the weboard which have worked previously on other projects) VS9 crashes with insufficient memory, however I've got 1GB so this seems odd.
So I thought of trying just to burn straight to disc (not a good idea usually) but an error stopped the attempt - number 4101 I think.
Any ideas??? Hope this is enough information to get some assistance.

It would be very helpful to know what the properties of your video file are. In particular, have you tried produced the video file with Frame Based, instead of Upper or Lower Field First? That often works better with digital still photos.
As for your attempt to burn direct to disc, skipping the 'create video file' step, Error 4101 is usually associated with the dread 'Convert step got some problems'. Some people had the problem after applying the patch to VS9. They had to do a complete uninstall and reinstall and not apply the patch to cure the problem.

Problem solved - it looks like the issue was with the transition effect.
I removed the effect and the situation was fixed. Did a test burn ans all fine.
In the image file I had a delay at the start the panning and fading, so I wonder whether the issue was a combination of this.
Weird though huh?!
Is it worth pursuing with Ulead?
