It takes forever to open MSP7.0 and a project file. Everytime I open a project, it scans through every single video clip in my project. I have to open the project file and walk away. I've tried disabling my anti-virus but that did nothing. Anybody have any ideas why it's doing this?
Thanks!
Opening MSP and project takes FOREVER!

I've updated my system details.
It didn't scan through every single video clip in the past, it's been doing this for approx. 3 weeks and it's annoying as you have to sit through the start and end of each video clip as it previews it. Even when I adjust the length of a music clip, it goes through and previews a section of the video clip above the music clip I just adjusted.

Last time my friend complained about this is because he had set the timeline to be displayed in Filmstrip mode for video and Waveform mode for audio in his MSP.
Click on the second right button on the timeline window (or select View->Timeline Display Mode) and then you will see the Timeline Display Mode dialog. Set the video/audio timeline to different modes and click on OK to see which mode is suitable for you.
Hope this helps.
