Ok, so maybe I'm going nuts, but Ulead does not make this process easy.
First, I download a trial. Install, and find that I need the patches to get the full working version I need (for DVD-A disc creation). I get the patches, only to find that you can't upgrade the trial. Fine. I buy a license. But, I still can't upgrade a trial! Have a license turns off the time clock, but the computer still sees the software as a trial.
Obviously, I need uninstall this and install a "real" version. But guess what my $99 got me? A license code that the ULead website doesn't accept. So, I'm out the $$$ and have no install version - and there seems to be nothing on the ULead site about downloading the full version.
Perhaps I missed it, but any links are appreciated.

When you got your notification with your license number you should have also downloaded the full version from the link provided. These links are only active for a certain period of time. receiving a license from ULEAD does not automatically register you as a user. You need to do that separately, AFAIK.
Contact customer support, not tech support, from the Ulead website and explain your predicament in a polite and concise manner. I'm sure they will issue you another download link.
This is clearly a source of confusion. There are license keys, activation keys and serial numbers. You register your software with the serial number.
