Hi All,
I was wandering if it was possible to use Movie Factory 3 to make a DVD of about 90 mins or more?
Thank You.
90 min DVD???
Sure!
The DVD specification allows variable bitrates and some audio options. A lower bitrate means lower quality, but more video play-time.
With AC3 audio, you can get 90 minutes of pretty-good video on a single-layer DVD. If you stretch it to 2-hours you will notice some degradation of the video quality... It's still usually acceptable, depending on how picky you are. (If you use LPCM audio which is uncompressed, you'll have to further-compress the video to make room for the audio.)
Here's a link to a Bitrate Calculator that you can use to determine the highest bitrate for your program material.
