Hi guys,
I have video studio 8 (great product) and have just bought a new 30gb ipod photo. I tried outputting a 320 X 240 quick time formated video, which ran fine in quicktime but would not upload onto the ipod.
I have tried a quick search on this forum, and it looks as though neither video studio 8 not 9 can produce h.264 formatted videos suitable for an ipod photo?
If you guys can confirm then I shall have to splash out for an upgrade to quicktime pro, I think it is only $30.
I live in the UK btw, presume the $30 upgrade offer is valid here?

Ulead claim Videostudio 9 supports ipod
Guys,
Just had a reply from the ulead support team. They say that if I buy the videostudio 9 upgrade I get mpeg 4 compression free and this is supported on the ipod....
Can anyone confirm that this is true. If it is I am happy to pay for upgrade, if not then it is a waste of money.
Interestingly enough I gave up and went to apple to buy the quicktime pro upgrade. EVERY single reviewer of it said it did not work! Some people will always have problems, but this did seem like apple have a problem with the H.264 codec in quicktime pro? Anyone know any more
