New trial download reading as "expired"
I just downloaded the 15 day trial, created two accounts to 1) get the download and 2) post this message, and the first time I try to open the damn thing, it's showing thet rial as expired. I can't get tech support, since haven't bought it yet, but I won't buy it until I can try it. Any help?

Hi Multimediagirl
I've had the same problem with the TBYB version of Photo Impact. I would suggest that you email Ulead, however they don't provide support for trial versions. I just figured that PI wasn't worth it, I have other photo programs that are probably far better...
Second point, when you created an account here....
This forum is not ran by Ulead. So this account is not connected to them. Even though Ulead may provide the host space, they do not monitor, moderate, or get involved in this forum. Something that I think they should be very active in. It may improve their products...

Hey thanks, ron..
I figured some of it out.. I installed the program at work under the administrator's login, but never ran it, just went back to my login and thought it would work, but apparently you have to initiate it under the admnistrator's login as well to get it fully functional. So that helped.
Thanks for explaining the forum dichotomy; I saw the logo & assumed. I like that Ulead offers medium-end programs for us to play with, but yeah, they're getting valuable feedback that they're missing. Oh well, thanks for helping a sister out..
