The software was bundled with a digital microscope which comes with a PC-Oculer (SN9C102) for capture video/still picture. After installation, the system is able to detect the new hardware but when I tried to capture picture, I got the error message "No video capture device or video capture device doesn't support DirectShow". I think it was probably due to a old camera driver previously installed in the computer, causing improper installation of the new driver for the PC-Ocular. The microscope manual advises that this problem can be solved by installing the "microcular.cat" which could be found in CD software. I could not find this file and even found, I do not how to install it.
Can anyone help me solve the software installation problem? Thanks

No installation problem but faced withblank pictures problem
My friend who bought the same microscope was able to install the software in his notebook computer. However, when he tried to take single still pictures, some of the pictures are blank. This also occur in taking sequence pictures (that is, some of the pictures are blank). He switched off the computer and restart again, the same problem exists. This never occur in taking video.
Can anyone advise me how to overcome the "blank pictures" problem?
