Does this product actaully work?

I get the following error:

Failed to reuse converted cache file! (4570)

Unspecified Error Rep+Id
0x800411da(4570)

It takes me over an hour to get this error.

Do you think you could fix this product to where I spend hours actually producing a DVD, instead of error messages.

Was I foolish to upgrade, thinking your product might actually be useful now?

There is plenty of disk space on the scratch/work and target drives.
I have tried both writing ISO image files and Folders on the target drive.

I am just really disgusted at this point.

Any way to make your product actually work?

for a start, this is not 'your product' it is 'our' web board where we all get the chance to swap problems and ideas. I have never had any ulead feedback from problems posted on this site. at least ulead provides this site - many others dont. for anyone to attempt to look at your problem you should at least provide your pc config, which product you are using, and exactly what you are doing. If all else fails, use Nero VisionExpress3, which is rock solid as long as you don't want to do too much editing

Moviefactory actually works if you dont do ANY editing!

drksecret, I read your rule once before... but then I forgot it! ;-(

"MF works fine if you don't do ANY editing". I'll frame it this time...

I got the dreaded "failed to reuse cache..." over and over, reinstalled the product (yet again)... (and think I missed an update this time, it looks different, oh well).

But sure enough, a few days earlier while starting the project, I added one clip and cut the start by moving in the "[" by a few frames. Move it back, and "problem, what problem?"
