Deleteing Files

Post by Slick »

Because I work on a laptop with limited harddrive space I wish to delete all the files from a project after I burn a couple of discs. I would like to make sure I'm doing this in a complete and efficient manner. As I understand it, I must first select each clip in the library using the shift key to highlight each file indiviually, Then delete the batch of highlighted clips. Then I must go back and delete each icon which represents these individual clips. Am I doing this correctly and completly? Are there other things that need to be deleteded to clear my harddrive of a project and is there a simpler way of accomplishing this task. Thank you.

Just use Explorer to delete the contents of your video directory and the temp directory you set up in MSP. Better still, if these are in a separate partition, do a full reformat of said partition.
