Ulead DVD player 2.0 will not work

I just installed a brand new dvd drive in my computer, I installed all the fancy drivers and programs that came with it.

I put in a dvd, I tell my computer to use the dvd player that came with it. The program loads, I tell it to play, it shows a screen that says "Ulead DVD player 2.0", screen goes blank, nothing happens.

What the hell is wrong? I can't figure it out, because there isn't crap about this program on the site. And this problem is not explained in the help files.

And yes, it does infact work, because I used that same drive to load the programs and drivers.

Also, I didn't really have a clue where this thread belongs.

The Ulead player came with your drive?

Do you have Windows Media Player installed? Do you have Direct-X installed? Ulead's player might use some Windows codecs or DLLs or something...
