Adding to a DVD

I am new to this DVD creating, does anyone know if you can add items to a DVD using a DVD Recorder and without finalizing it then add items using Video Studio 6, from the PC, to the same DVD

Apps like "disc creator" use dvd vr recording the same as dvd recorders. They only work with certain types of disc, rw, and depending on which type you use +/- then compatibility with stand alone dvd players is poorer than normal dvds.

So your answer is yes it can be done, but not with your apps.

Thanks very much for that info - guess I will have to try to get other stuff from VHs tape ( I have a usb DVD creator) to enable me to get enough material on my PC to fill a DVD disc
