Post by palmsprings »

Help guys
Thinking of upgrading to MS 8, (got offer for £99, existing VS /Workshop )I note that the paint and cg infinty are now in another package "labs" have they been upgraded or the same as in media studio 7, I only ask because there is an offer on at present to buy it, with version 8, no point geting the labs if its the same as what was included in version 7, have emailed ulead but no response as usual.

AFAIK, the only differences are cosmetic and they now have support for HDV formats. The MSP7 versions work fine in MSP8 for SD formats.

Keep MSPro7 installed and you can still use the Video Paint and CGI modules. They have coexisted nicely on my systems (8 and counting).
