I find it incredible that DVD Movie Creator 3 Disc Creator, a supposed basic package has a feature that is lacking from WS2 and that is to join imported video segments from a set-top dvd platyer (+/- vr)
Instead we have the issue of having to put up with pre-set chapters as scenes and can do nothing about it.
I cannot understand why the feature has not ben added
Joining video in DVDWS2 (or not as the case is)
It has other features too...
Yes, DMF 3.0 DC has that and some other features that DWS 2.x does not have, but that doesn't make it a better package...
In the meantime, you could setup your DVD Recorder to NOT put auto-chapters every "x" minutes. That might help during the import stage...

I was not suggesting that it was a better package but it has a feature that should be there in the Professional option.
Unfortunately the disk was not created by me.
I am sure there will be many other users who would want the flexibility that the lower end software offers as this subject crops up again and again on various boards.
I can't believe that it can't easily be done. Looking at the interface of MF3, it has the same look and feel and I'm guessing that the core engine of both products is probably the same.
