Inserting Track Breaks
I have a few Grateful Dead shows that I want to break up into individual tracks, but i'll be damned if I can figure out how to do it Audio Editor 8. Is there an easy way to do this? I have been on the forums and in the manual and I can't find anything explaining how to do this. There has got to be an easy way to break up long audio files into smaller track. HELP! Any suggestions will be answered with much good karma! Thanks all!

In Audio Editor you can highlight just that song then Copy it. Now Paste it as a new document. Repeat for each song as necessary, then export 'em as you see fit.
You can also do this in the video editor. Put the video into the Production Library or Storyboard, select it then from the context menu select "Multi-Trim".
Multi-Trim can split the video into multiple clips quite easily. Once finished you'll have each song's video displayed as a separate thumbnail.
Now it's a simple matter to put 'em on the timeline one at a time and export just the audio.
Call me lazy, but I like doing it in the video editor because of the visual feedback as to when each performance starts/ends.
