Document Viewer
Every time I start some of my latest projects from my documents folder VS8 loads then a message appears that Windows document Viewer is being installed. If I hit cancel then I can go ahead with my project. When I open VS8 directly from my desktop I do not get this. Any ideas what I have done to cause this. Thanks

Apparently M$ Windows is confusing the extension *.vsp (Video Studio Project) with a Virtusales ASP Compiler Project File. ASP is used in web development. It's a language similar to PHP. So clicking on the video studio project, windows is thinking that you want to run Windows Document Viewer.
I had a similar problem when I had Broderbund's Create a Card installed. It uses the same extenstion as Paint Shop Pro, which I have. If I clicked on a PSP file, windows would open Create a Card.
You could go to Tools>Folder Options>File Types and make sure that the vsp extention is set to open with Ulead Video Studio....
Hope that helps...
