SlideShow Pictures are blocky and jagged

I am using the latest Version of DVD Workship with all the latest patches. The problem I am having is that all still images are blocky. if there is a diagonal or a slanted line on the picture it does not show perfect it shows up aliased. Any idea on how to fix this.. Perhaps Resolutions? DPI etc.

I have tried various resolutions but with no luck.. can anyone help?

BTW.. I am authoring a Slideshow DVD (no movie/video) just slides and music.
