Switching between Ulead Programs

Post by David_S »

How do I customise the list of Ulead Programs in the "Switch" menu of MS8Pro? At present I have 10 Ulead programs there including several which I seldom if ever use such as Cool 360 and Cool 360 viewer but Video Capture which I want to access easily from Video editor is not!

Do I have to uninstall the little used programs and MS8 and then reinstall MS8?

In MSP8, you can access the Capture function directly from the VE Menu, which has a position Capture, allowing you to select video, batch or scan captures.

On my set-up, I do have the Capture function in Switch, but this may be a residue from MSP7, although it now points to MSP8

Frankly, I've no idea where the data is stored for the Switch function: I think it may not be editable without code-hacking.

Thanks for those comments Devil. As I mentioned in my other post on autosaving I am reinstalling MS8 and have uninstalled some old Ulead programs so will see what happens.

Well I uninstalled an unused Ulead program and then reinstalled MSP8 but Video Capture did not appear in the switch menu. I uninstalled a further program and Video Editor automatically dropped it from Switch.

It would be useful to have Video Capture in "Switch" as it appears that although you can capture from the main Video Editor menu, some of the capture options can only be accessed through Video Capture.
