Preview Window not showing preview whilst rendering MSP8.0

I have a problem with my Pop Up preview window not displaying video whilst rendering on Mediua Studio Pro 8.0

I have tried to render with the button on and off ( with and without the blue ) on Instant Play - but still to no avail.

If I Press the Play button on the fixed preview window to the left at the top of Video Editor - it previews perfectly so I dont think it is a problem with the install.

When I go to Create Video File and select my MPEG options - the file starts to render - but at the top of the Preview window which pops up it says Preview 00:00:00:00 and just stays on this reading and the preview window remains blank.

The file however is rendering below as I can see the elapsed time etc all moving. It is just simply the display in the Pop Up Preview window I have lost.

Any more ideas please ?

Do you have other Ulead products installed that use the Mpeg render engine, like MSP 7 or VideoStudio?

I had a problem similar to this when I used MSP 7 after installing MSP 8. The mpeg render engine seemed to get taken over by MSP 7 (just guessing here). I got an error (can't remember the specific error) when trying to render in MSP 8 after that. I corrected the problem by uninstalling/reinstalling MSP 8.

Yes I have Media Studio Pro 7 installed. Will try your suggestions
