Capture driver error

My Videostudio9 won't capture video via Firewire (IEEE1394).
Have tried to repair the installation, and have tried to remove and re-install.
What else can I do ?
Running WinXP PRO with all servicepacks.
The error is:
"Failed to initialize the video capture plug-in. Another program may be using it or the file has been moved"
As far as I can see, there is no other programs running, that might use the driver.
Have Pinnacle Studio10 installed, but it is not running.

There have been several postings regarding Firewire. do a search for OCHI or IEEE1394

Have looked at the 2 threds.
And tried a search on FireWire.
It's not a Windows driver problem, I think. The driver in windows works fine, and I can capture with other programs.
So it must be in Videostudio the problem is.
