Saved Trim Video Not Working

I am a relatively experienced UVS 8 user (UVS 8.01). I have used Saved Trimmed Video many times previous, however, it is not working today. In addition, I tried to uninstall and reinstalled the software. That was a nightmare as I had to do the uninstall manually.

I have a .AVI file open. I have set Mark in and Mark out on Trim Bar. I go up to Clip/Saved Trimmed Video (not grayed out) and select it. Nothing happens, trimmed video bar does not appear, nothing is saved.

Any idea what has changed, what has gone wrong, and what I can do about it?
