Transfering PinP from MSP 7 to MSP 8
I've recently upgraded from MSP 7 to MSP 8 and I want to transfer some custom picture in picture moving paths from the production library in MSP 7 to MSP 8. However, I can not locate where such files are actually located on my computer and in which file. Any help would be apprecaited.

Select then right-click the Custom folder and choose "Save" from the context menu. Name & save it, reimporting the same way but using the Load option.
Poof!!
This works for all Custom folders; moving paths, video/audio filters, transitions etc. You can even Create sub-folders within Custom for effects of particular types; PIP's etc., and save them separately.
Carrying this a bit further these named Custom sub-folders can also be Loaded by right-clicking the Moving Path, Transition, A/V Filter etc. headings themselves, whereupon they won't appear in the Custom folder but as headings of their own.
In case you don't have 'em I have a few custom MP's of my own;

http://digitalvideo.8m.net/portrait.zip
Installation instructions in the *.zip's
