VS9 THEMES

I have the trial vs9 and may soon purchase the full version.Must I use a theme to burn a dvd?I dont want an overlay on the entire movie.

No - just use the full editor instead of the wizard and you can do almost anything you want with your video when burning it to DVD.

How did you manage to get your themes, I have downloaded mine but the only one which shows is the holiday one.

The holiday theme is all I see as well. That is why I wanted no theme .

I have the esd version and only see the x-mas/holiday theme as well!! anyone know whats going on with that? I even installed the free-bonus dvd pro pack that came with it.

I have the exact same problem after downloading the esd version and installing both the patch and the extra templetes free with purchase and I only see under> home movies> x-mas tempelate....frustrating since I needded this before now and I cannot seem to fix it. If anyone has any suggestions please help....

I did some searchng and did not realize the smart download does not automatically install anything by default unless you check> execute after download, or something like that on the smart download window I installed all the files that were sitting inside the Smartdownload folder in the ulead..\\ dir but after checking out the hash file id's I had the first 2 content packs not matching what the hash files should be, I will try and download again, Thanks for the info!!

If anyone has any luck with this can they please post, I have unistalled and reinstalled twice and no luck and I have tried installing the contents from my c drive after I found the file but still not luck. What a waste of money.

I used the info in this post(link below) that helped me fix the issue. Seems like the smartdownload tends to drop some packets and when I hashed check the downloads, the first 2 content packs did not check out even though they seemed to install fine. After re-install they all showed up.
