MyDocuments\Ulead DVD Workshop

Is there any way (hack or otherwise) to stop DVD Workshop 2 from creating a directory tree of its own in MyDocuments? (ie 'MyDocuments\Ulead DVD Workshop\2.0')

My 'MyDocuments' is an organised piece of real estate and DVDWS insists on creating this directory every time the program is used or goes to burn something...

I agree. Unfortunately, it is not even a Ulead trait. I HATE and never use My docs for any application. Worse still is C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Ulead Systems\Ulead DVD Workshop\2.0\...

Even worse is the fact that many applications default to the C: drive for everything, requiring manual actions to put files where you want them.

All this junk fills the C: drive with unwanted rubbish. It should all go into the application directory, IMHO. The C:drive would then be better able to perform as a platform for the OS.

I hate Bill G.

Exactly, Windows was designed to encourage users to put their files all over the place without any organisation whatsoever ;-)
