Hi
I'm a newbie with Ulead v9. I have a question...I want to make a short slideshow that will start first prior to my video (which is my home family movies converted from analogue to digital). Can you use the slideshow production, convert to dvd compliant mpeg and then combine in your menu with the video production? I originally was trying to use the video studio editor and just insert pics with transitions etc at the beginning and then was going to go right into my video, but things weren't going as smoothly as I would like..so I wondered if I should make them as 2 separate parts and then insert both in menu? Any suggestions would be helpful!
Thanks
CAnn

Hi CAnn
I'm just finishing up a similar project. I used both VS9 and DVDMF4. In my project I have a short intro slideshow, followed by a video, then more slideshows.
DVDMF4 was used for a couple of the slideshows due to the number of photos. I did use VS9 for a slideshow because I needed more control over the different durations of the images and transitions to get things to match up with the music.
Anyhow put your slideshow together, render it to DVD compliant MPEG. Due the same for your video. Then when you want to create your DVD, or DVD files, bring in the rendered movies and proceed. What I did pay close attention to were the project settings, keeping them the same throughout the processs.
Hope that helps...
