DVD MovieFactory 4 Crashes

Hi,
I'm new to MovieFactory, so please bear with me. During the "Preparing video title data" part of burning (which I assume is encoding), MovieFactory seems to crash at the same spot... and I've tried several times already, with different settings, etc. Would any know why it's crashing, and give me some insight on how to fix it? Thanks.

P.S. I've already updated to 4.03.

I have the same problem. Everytime I start to burn a DVD, MovieFactory crashes and goes to the launcher. I've tried several fixes but nothing helps. I have heard that Roxio can interfere with MovieFactory, but I've tried uninstalling it and it made no difference. Anyone out there have any other ideas?

I have the EXACT same problem! I get through all the steps, my DVD is ready to burn, I click the Burn icon, and after a few seconds it crashes. I really need help with this! This is my last resort, I've tried everything I could think of!

I have a similar problem with this software. I don't have roxio installed. I can create and burn a dvds ok without saving the project. But if I save the project and return to it later, it crashes after the first edit screen and throws me out to the splash screen. Weird...

Try to complete your dvd's without shutting down your PC and see what happens..

I had this problem then I installed the upgrade from the ulead website, et voila, all is well.
