removeing objects from picture

i was looking and i just bought this program and it says that i can for instance highlight a head from someone and delete that from the picture and i can not for the lfe of me figure out how to do that i have got the idea on how you can duplicate the picture and color of something like a stain on a wall. but how do i remove heads and such from my photos?

What do you want to replace them with? Do you want to have the background showing where those heads were?

You can use the lasso tool, the mask tool and, depending on which version you use, there may be other means of achieving that.
