WinDV is a simple program for doing DV transfers between a PC and a DV device such as a MiniDV camcorder. It is very simple, reliable, and easy on system resources. Because it can buffer the incoming DV data stream if the I/O subsystem is busy, it is more reliable for capturing on low-end computers than Videostudio.
