I'm getting a lot of stocking/flickering when I pan & zoom on some photos.
The stop flickering filter doesn't help.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance
Mick

Thanks for nothing
I'm sorry I'm not an arrogant expert like you & didn't know you need that information.Your help will not be needed in the future.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Re: Thanks for nothing
Heinz is not an arrogant expert, he's a very helpful and respected man who's help is very welcome and has benefited numerous newbies like yourself.micksflicks wrote:I'm sorry I'm not an arrogant expert like you & didn't know you need that information.Your help will not be needed in the future.

(Although he sometimes shows a tendency to consider germans as non-humans? :-) )
If this forum is of no help to you you are welcome to see someplace else if you get better advice.
PS: Heinz and others, I'm not german, have no relation to germans and Germany, but believe a whole nation can't be blamed for what politicians of that country did long ago. No country has a pure and nice history.
Some admin should lock this thread that I made REALLY off-topic now...
before it goes wild with non-Ulead related answers

Good luck in getting any help from Ulead direct. A lot of people here have no luck getting that!!
In fact, apart from his acerbic tone, Heinz was quite correct. We simply can't tell you what Field Order you should be using because we have no idea what Field Order you actually used when you experienced the strobing effect. Thus it was logical to say that you should try the opposite Field Order to the one you actually used. In other words, if you used Upper Field First, then use Lower Field First.
What we need to know are the project properties you are using for the slideshow (if indeed you are producing a slideshow).
And if it is indeed a stand-alone slideshow, you could try setting the project settings to Frame Based, as that often works best with still photos.
