PhotoImpact Pro - 8.5 not responding

Hi, I purchased PhotoImpact Pro - 8.5 some time ago and loaded it on my computer - running Win xp. Due to family illness, I seldom, if ever, used it. Now, when I try to use it, it loads, then it is totally unresponsive and I have to shut it down. I removed it, shut down my antivirus and reinstalled it - twice. It still will not work. I don't know what else to try. I do have several other graphic programs on my computer and they run fine (Paint Shop Pro, Photoshop Elements etc. Thanks for any ideas

PhotoImpactPro is based on PI but is not the same product. It is marketed by NOVA in the US and some core modules have been rewritten.

I'm afraid, you may have to get onto NOVA for your problem.
