I had the same problem.

Have you tried the compatibility mode as I suggested? Read other posts in the forum on the this. A simple problem. Fixed in a second

Good luck

hi,

you might wanna try this suggestion: . Go to "Start --> All Programs --> Accessories --> Program Compatibility Wizard".
Press next then you can choose from either a list of programs or browse for it manually.
After you've chosen the Ulead software you're having problems with, go to the next step then you'll be prompted to choose another operating system.
Choose Windows 98 then click next until you finish the wizard.

try luck folks :D

I have been using photo express 4 for about 5 years now, it is the one I have come to know best and rely upon above phto express 6 etc.
Over the last several months, perhaps all of this year I too have had the same problem with installing photo express 4, it kept giving out at about 70%. I cleaned the disc and everything, finally I turned off my internet connection and Boing, it worked.
I have found that I need to make sure I am not on line when I install the disc, it must be a windows update for XP or somesuch and then go back online.
I have also been having difficuloty in getting Fusion installed off the same disc to no avail.
Cheers, hope this works for you like it did for me.

Cannot install phot ex4, Roxio interfered with instillation

Sorry my suggestion was of no Help.

Boing, is just that, like a spirng going into action, "Boing"!
One other little suggestion you may want to try, one of themessages I had eben getting with my Ulead was that thew products may not work with ROXIO CD Creator which I removed and had no other problems at all, although next time I tried to install the cd creator it just crashed like the photo express had been doing, after 6-7 goes a crack almost like a burn had formed on the disc, so you wany want to remove that programme if you have it.
Cheers and good luck with getting it to install.
