need to burn DVD to send to USA

Hi

Have made a film and burned it in pal format and it works fine but have been asked to send one to the USA, I know they use the NTSC format so if i simply change the settings and re burn one in that format will i be OK

Please Help

Never done this but should be possible. It'll be a lengthy encoding process since the frame size and rate are different. I also believe there are specialised converters available.

Depends on the quality you want. If it's family and they don't expect too much you could import the pal version into an ntsc project and work your way through.
If you want to do it properly you need a proper standards converter, as it's not just frame size adn frame rate that differ, but also the way the luminace/chrominace is delivered. Look at Canopus Procoder.
